poem
THERE is a sweet lady sleeping by the ocean,
Her lips are as red as a cherry ;
The roses are resting upon her dark colored cheeks-
Her cheeks that are dark colored as a berry.
She's worn out on working up palaces of sand,
Her hands they are abrasive and grimy ;
Her shoes, they are wet, and her legs, they are exposed,
Her legs that are tough and pudgy.
I'll wrap a shawl round you, my dear little servant,
To keep the breeze off you totally,
Furthermore, delicate I will sing you a bedtime song tune,
Furthermore, soon you will sleep generally sweetly
